Description
Watch the full timelapse HERE
Artists Tracie MacVean and Banana Joe have created a 7 meter wide mural which illustrates local threatened native species at the Sustainable Activities Center which is a non-profit organisation held together by a strong network of environmentally passionate volunteers. The purpose of this mural is to educate, raise awareness, and help familiarize our local community with our threatened native fauna and flora including the Regent Honey Eater, Bush Stone Curlew, Southern Pygmy Perch, Smooth darling Pea and Crimson Spider Orchid.
This mural also aims to inspire the growth of creativity within the local district, as art is a valuable expression of our culture and a driving force for social change.
This whole project was community funded with the reveal held on April 20th bringing all the contributors together.
We value our environment, and hope this project will inspire others to work together to create things with meaning, that will have a positive impact on the community.
Thank you to our local sponsors:

Many thanks to our contributors, all the individuals that donated funds towards this project!
